Questions, answered.

Everything about how Aetherly transfers, protects and bills. Can't find it? Reach us at [email protected].

No. Aetherly sends files directly peer-to-peer over an encrypted WebRTC channel. The server only helps the two devices find each other — your content never lands on it.

Those upload your file to the cloud and give the other side a link to download. Aetherly skips the cloud entirely — the file streams straight from your device to theirs, so there's no upload wait, no expiring link and no copy sitting on a server.

For a direct transfer, both sides need connectivity so the P2P channel can form. Presence shows you who's reachable right now. A push notification can wake the receiving app to accept — even from a cold start on mobile.

There is no cloud quota deciding what fits, because nothing is stored. Your plan sets the maximum size per transfer: Free sends up to 1 GB per transfer, and Pro sends up to 50 GB per transfer and up to 10 GB per single file.

Yes. The WebRTC channel is encrypted end-to-end, so the data in flight is readable only by the sending and receiving devices. We never hold the keys to your content because we never hold the content.

Yes, a free account is required. Signing in unlocks the full send-and-receive flow — along with favorites, transfer history and syncing across your own devices.

Windows, iOS and Android, all native. Windows is available as a direct download today; the iOS and Android store listings go live the moment they're approved.

Yes. Aetherly isn't limited to the same Wi-Fi — a transfer works across different networks too, through routers and firewalls. The transfer stays directly peer-to-peer and never travels through a server.

Cancel anytime from settings; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then drops to Free. Subscriptions purchased on iOS are managed through the App Store and on Android through Google Play, where each store's refund rules apply.

In two taps from settings, or from the account-deletion page in your browser. There's a 30-day grace window during which you can reactivate by email; after that, your data is permanently deleted. It's fully GDPR-compliant.

Right inside the app. On Windows the payment runs through Stripe Hosted Checkout from the desktop paywall; on iOS through the App Store and on Android through Google Play. The website itself never sells anything — download the app and pick your plan there.

Yes. Switch between monthly and yearly billing anytime through the customer portal or in the app — the change is prorated and applies immediately.

Every plan sends directly peer-to-peer — paid plans only lift the limits: more devices, bigger files and transfers, more parallel transfers. You can see the full breakdown on the pricing page.
